Political Science Students Awarded FLAS Fellowships

Two students from the Department of Political Science were awarded Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowships for the summer 2019 semester and the 2019-20 academic year, out of 80 recipients total.

The Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowships are awarded through the Office of International Affairs. The summer fellowship provides all students with a stipend of $2,500 and up to $5,000 for tuition and fees to participate in an intensive language program at Ohio State, other domestic institution, or abroad. The academic year fellowship gives undergraduate students a stipend of $5,000 and up to $10,000 for tuition and fees. You can learn more about FLAS Fellowships here.

Academic Year 2019-20 FLAS Fellow: Kristie Lam, Political Science and Russian double major, Advanced Russian, Ohio State University
